My Story
MANIPUR, INDIA
Manipur is a state in northeastern India, with the city of Imphal as its capital.
Welcome to my home! I was born and raised in Manipur. Growing up I lived in Imphal. My Father passed away when I was 4 years old and my mother had no other choice but to move us back to the rural village. We have 5 siblings. I have 2 older brothers, 1 older sister, and 1 young sister. My mom was a praying, God-fearing woman. We lived by faith. After college, I moved to Pune, India near Mumbai to find a job. My mother developed breast cancer and passed away in 2014. These were dark days for our family! My mother’s dying words were: Love each other. Today, my siblings are very close.
We still benefit from our mother’s prayers.

Research shows that education is the path out of poverty.
My mother literally raised us without any income. When my father passed all income stopped. I believe God used my mom’s prayers and generous heart to miraculously provide for my education. No doubt many people contributed along the way. I’m grateful. It’s my pleasure to give back.
